France, mixed screw and beam foundations, 9.1 MWp

The “Le Pressoir” solar power plant boasts an installed capacity of 9.1 MWp, preventing the equivalent of 279 tons of CO₂ emissions annually!

Key project data:

  • Installed capacity: 9.1 MWp in the municipality of Le Lude, France.
  • Annual green energy production: 9 GWh, equivalent to the total annual electricity consumption (including heating) of approximately 2,000 households.

Project highlights:
The structure demonstrated remarkable adaptability to various foundation types. A mix of screws and beams was used to address constraints encountered during the project while minimizing concrete usage to the strictly necessary foundations.

Our contribution:
Our teams managed the entire "structures" package—from analysis, recommendation, and implementation of the optimal foundation mix to the installation of 15,696 modules. This resulted in limited concrete use, positively impacting both project costs and its carbon footprint.
